Introduction

You will need the most recent version of LinkWare PC in order to install the most recent version of the Versiv software.  Both are distributed as one zip archive.

Software is found on https://www.flukenetworks.com/support/downloads

If you have a version of Linkware PC is that older than v9.5, please uninstall it first.

 

Solution

 

 

Update LinkWare PC to the newest version

 

  1. In File Explorer, double click on update-lwXX.X-versivX.X.zip in the folder you downloaded it to.  This will show the contents on the zip file
  2. Double click on lw_XX.X_buildXX_single.exe
  3. Click on the button labeled "Run".  There is no need to Extract the files
  4. Follow the instructions from the LinkWare PC install program

 

To update your Versiv software to the newest version

  1. Connect your Versiv to your PC using a USB cable.  Remember: you have at least two Versiv to update
  2. Start LinkWare PC.  If LinkWare PC prompts that there is a new version of Versiv software available, dismiss the prompt
  3. Click on the Software Update toolbar button on LinkWare PC
  4. Browse to the folder where update-lwXX.X-versivX.X.zip was downloaded.
  5. Select the file in the browse dialog and click OK.
  6. Wait until Versiv is done updating then connect your remote to the main to update the remote.
  7. Leave the USB cable attached until the Remote has finished updating and reboots.
