Introduction
When the IP address of the host where vSCOUT is running on changes, how does this affect vSCOUT?
Solution
Simply reboot the host or restart the vSCOUT process after the change and nGeniusONE Server will change its configuration accordingly.
Use nstray tool to restart the vSCOUT process. Keep in mind that, although the service may seem to restart quickly, it could take several minutes before the vSCOUT is operational again.
You may have to adjust the packet forwarding filter in Device Configuration > Devices > Traffic Forwarding to reflect the changed IP address of the host.
