Introduction
When the IP address of the host where vSCOUT is running on changes, how does this affect vSCOUT?
Solution
Simply reboot the host or restart te vSCOUT process* and the change will be picked-up by nGeniusONE Server automatically.
You may have to adjust the packet forwarding filter in Device Configuration > Devices > Traffic Forwarding to reflect the changed IP address of the host.
- Use nstray to restart the vSCOUT processes. Keep in mind that although the service may seem to restart quickly, it could take several minutes before the process is operational.
