Introduction

The panel Site Status is located under the Site menu on the Site Overview page. In early releases of the software  and when the user's computer had access to the Internet, detailed maps (called tiles) were automatially downloaded from the internet wheneven needed. As of version 9, this feature does no longer exist. 

 

 

Solution

Users are required to download the detailed tiles they need (typical the countries or regions where they have remote offices) from a repository and install them on the TruView Central server. 

Manual process

  1. Copy the new tiles archive(s) to :\tiles\ (:\tiles should be present in to server)
    1. The is the drive where you find not only this \tiles folder, but also the folder \fredata and possibly a few other folders.
  1. Unzip the archive to the tiles folder
  2. If prompted about the destination path, chose default settings; you may be asked about overriding existing tiles or merge folders. If you believe the existing tile should not be overwritten, answer “Skip”, otherwise answer “Yes”
