Introduction

A correct configuration of NVP assures the most accurate calculation of the electrical length of the link under test. 

 

Solution

These are the values for NVP for the most common types of twisted-pair cable. 

Use these values whenever the manufacturer of the cable is unknown, or the link is composed of diferent brands of cable.
