Introduction
COMCERT is using AirMagnet Sensor to monitor wireless networks remotely.
Solution
Electrical
The AirMagnet Sensor must be connected to a PoE switch. AirMagnet Sensor is a Type 1 powered device (PD), so the power sourcing equipment (PSE) must provide 15.4W of power.
Mechanical
AirMagnet Sensor (without antennas) measures 190x190x35mm and weights less than 500g. DO NOT install the sensor in close proximity of a metal surface.
Network
AirMagnet Sensor is DHCP enabled and it will attempt to communicate to https://w-ame.comcert.com:443. It is not possible to use a proxy server.
