Introduction

twork Service Element is COMCERT's flexible solution to extend networks visibility and synthetic testing to remote sites.

All models have the same software and are configured in a identical way.

 

Solution

Default IP

The default IP address of the applicance is 192.168.100.1.  Use a PC with a fixed IP address in that same network (192.168.100.0/24) and a twisted-pair cable of reasonable length to connect to either interface Gb1 or Gb2.

Login

Be careful as changes and modiifications - if not carried out correcty - may render the box inoperable 

Login with username administrator and default password netscout1

We recommend changing the password for this user as soon as possile and to store the new password in a safe location
