• These ports provide a redundant connection with the network
• At least one of these ports must be connected

Monitor port (MON1 & MON2): 2x 1000BASE-T

• The purpose of these monitor ports will depend on the software running on de appliance  
• Example1: on PMA-XX with a packet collector, these ports will be two ingress ports
• Example2: on PMA-XX with a flow collector, these ports will be assigned to the flow collector and provide a redundant connection with the network
• In both examples, at least one of these ports must be connected
