Required connections (as shown)

Network interfaces located on the SUPERMICRO Server motherboard:

• Management network interface Eth0 (10GBASE-T).
• Remote Management Module RMM interface (1000GBASE-T).

Network interfaces located on the NETSCOUT ASI Accelerator NIC:

• Monitor interfaces (SFP+). These docks are empty and must be equipped with compatible fiber optic transceivers.  Attention: copper transceivers are not supported.  At least one of these ports should be connected to a SPAN or TAP output.  These ports are system named (from top to bottom) if3, if4, if5 and if6.

 

Optional connections

Optional connections located on the appliance motherboard:

• Management network interface Eth1 (10GBASE-T) for redundancy
• Serial Console 57600 baud, 8N1
