Introduction

Passive Fiber Optic TAPs require no configuration. The cabling between the TAP and the monitor ports are somewhat special.

Solution

Fiber optic cabling

The two fibers of the duplex LC-LC adapter on the TAP indicated with "monitor" are both used for transmission.

You need a LC-LC fan-out cable.
